Dick Fox’s Golden Boys has been called “one of the most exciting acts in show business.”
Featuring three of the most iconic teen idols of the late 50’s early 60’s; Frankie Avalon, Fabian and Bobby Rydell have proved to be an overwhelming live concert success. They have played packed venues throughout the country since 1985. Countless television appearances, movies, a special performance for the President of the United States and The Golden Boys PBS Special have brought on a vast audience of fans.
The idea to unite the three stars as The Golden Boys originated with veteran producer Dick Fox who has achieved great success with shows featuring the artists of the 50’s and 60’s.
The Golden Boys spotlights each of the performers and their all-time greatest hits, “Venus,” “De De Dinah,” and “Bobby Sox to Stockings” (Avalon), “Turn Me Loose,” “Tiger,” and “I’m a Man” (Fabian). Frankie & Fabian introduce Tommy Cono, who has been nicknamed “The Voice of Tribute”. Tommy displays many of the attributes of their late friend and partner, Bobby Rydell. He collaborated with Bobby prior to his passing and steps into this role with ease, bringing a fresh voice and electric energy to a show that’s been captivating audiences for years.
